to Comex's rating of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures
were traded in August at USD1,708.40 per ounce at the time of writing,
down 1.56%.

ounce. Gold may find points of support at USD1695.05 and resistance at
USD1751.70.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of
the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, rose
0.64% to trade at USD108.45.
Meanwhile on Comex, silver for
September fell 4.39% to trade at USD18.35 per ounce while copper for
September fell 2.73% to trade at USD3.23 per pound.
